Teaching History

Teaching is act of giving information or skills to others. The process of teaching includes using computers, textbooks, or educational television. The term 'history refers to a record of past human events. Since knowledge of human events beyond living memory is based on written records, oral traditions, and physical evidence, historians interpret the accounts. 19th and early 20th century historians based their interpretations on narrow terms based only on written sources, documents, or inscriptions. Only societies that possessed such sources could be considered to have histories. Below are links to historical sources maintained by universities.
