Academic Assistance and Research

Academic freedom historically refers to the freedom of educators at colleges and universities, to teach, publish, and engage in research unhindered by others. Those who are protected by academic freedom have the responsibility to conduct research honestly, to report their findings accurately, and to teach without bias. In democratic societies academic freedom is respected as a right. To facilitate academic freedom, students and scholars are often required to follow proscribed plans for presenting their research and viewpoints. Below you will find links to educational resources for conducting and reporting research as well as sources for language assistance.
