Parents and Students Resources

Universities and colleges are institutions that offer education beyond the secondary (preparatory or high school) level. These terms include schools offering only undergraduate preparation as well as undergraduate and graduate education, freestanding schools offering professional degrees, and two-year community and junior colleges offering technical, vocational, and liberal arts programs. A parent is the legally recognized father or mother of a person. Generally, the term refers only to biological mothers and fathers. By statute in most American jurisdictions, however, people who adopt children are also considered to be parents. Following are links to resources for students and parents.
