Graduate Programs

Universities and colleges offer education beyond the secondary level. This broad category includes colleges that offer only undergraduate preparation, universities that offer undergraduate and graduate education, professional schools that offer degrees in law, medicine, engineering, and such, and two-year community and junior colleges that offer technical, vocational, and liberal arts programs. Graduate education is rigorous, specialized training in particular academic and professional fields concluding with a doctor or master's degree. Admission in the U. S. is based on students' undergraduate records, recommendations by professors, and scores on the Graduate Record Examinations. Here are links to such programs.
