Outreach Programs & Solutions
Educational Outreach. Merriam-Webster defines 'outreach' as "the extending of services or assistance beyond current or usual limits." Outreach programs are extensions of the normal services, duties or obligations of an institution, whether it be a college/university or corporate entity. For these establishments, an outreach program is generally considered to be a "giving back" to the community (or nation) which supports them. Colleges and universities frequently establish outreach programs to provide breaking news and current research results to schools. Businesses inform and educate their communities. The use of the internet has eliminated distance barriers, offering information and solutions not previously available in isolated areas. Learn more from these links.
