VRML

Virtual Reality (VR) is a simulated three-dimensional reality. Technicians have begun to produce virtual images of objects, simulating the colors, textures, and movement of real objects. The goal is for an individual to be able to enter and actually manipulate VR. Now this is possible to a limited degree only with special headsets, and gloves or full suits with sensors that transmit and receive from the VR. Potentially practical uses of VR could include the long-distance manipulation of robotic devices in space, or providing assistance and lost abilities to the handicapped.
