Usenet
Usenet is a collection of messages, on a variety of subjects, which are posted to servers on the Internet. Each collection is known as a newsgroup. There are thousands of special-interest newsgroups or you can organize a new one targeted to your interests. Browsers, such as those from Netscape and Microsoft, provide Usenet support and access to newsgroups. Sites such as Deja News provide a searchable directory of subjects, brief descriptions of each newsgroup, and subscription sign-up. The links included herein relate to Usenet.
