Internet Plugins
Plugins are small utility programs that add specialized features to a Web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape. Once the Plug-In is installed in the browser, the new features are available as if they were originally designed as part of the browser. The Windows Registry marks the Plug-In as belonging to the browser so the Plug-In is activated automatically. Some Plug-Ins add features that can be used on many different Web sites. Other Plug-Ins are very specific for a particular Web site. Plug-Ins are often available for downloading from the Web site that makes use of the special features. The links contained herein offer information about Internet Plug-Ins.
