The speed with which a computer can accomplish these tasks determines its power. Programs listing all basic instructions to perform complex and lengthy tasks would be arduous and time-consuming to write. In a computer, elementary instructions can be divided into basic sequences for small tasks, such as standard arithmetic problems and analytical jobs with decimals.
