Visual Basic Game Programming

Visual Basic (VB) games and game programming. Games are computer programs using a combination of text, graphics, video, and sound in creating action. From simple games for children, to the more realistic and high-quality games used to train aviators, and oil-tanker captains, games are available in many different varieties of concept and function. In games, the player uses an input device, i.e., a joystick or buttons on the mouse to control the actions visible on screen. Visual Basic is a high-level computer language created by Dartmouth College in 1964. Rather than using number codes, Basic uses English words, making it the standard for personal computers sold in the U.S. The links below contain information about Visual Basic.
