Ada Programming Language
Ada is a high-level computer language, named for Ada Lovelace (1815-52), written for the U.S. Department of Defense in the 70s to take the place of COBOL. Congress passed a law in 1991 for all military software to be written in Ada. Ada contains coding features found in low-level assembly languages able to be machine-processed in "real time." Ada joins human readability and processing efficiency, helping to reach the computer language goals, which are often in conflict. Widely used in the aerospace industry and gaining ground in the artificial intelligence community, Ada is the new military computer language standard. The links below offer information about Ada.
