Computer Icons & Graphic Symbols
Icons are type symbols on a computer monitor, either representing a program, peripheral, or another object or function. A folder represents the organization of word processing document files, scissors indicate cut-and-paste capabilities, and a magnifying glass indicates a zoom feature. A click on this icon, and the program or other function executes. A tab button can be used to click on icons, but the most used by computer owners would be the mouse device on the desktop. Most mouse devices come with several buttons, available to be programmed for quicker efficiency. The links below contain information about icon graphics.
