Computer History Associations & Organizations

Computer history organizations are dedicated to the history of computers and telecommunications. The evolution, technology, and the impact of computers, particularly in this century, are typically explored. Featured are the pioneering men and women who developed the computer from the large, room-sized "mainframes" of a few decades ago to the commonplace desktop systems of today. These modern computers have replaced typewriters in the workplace and rendered the analog computer obsolete. New technologies, including increased access to the Internet, continue the computing industry’s evolution. The links included herein relate to computer history associations and organizations.
