Animation & Cartoonists
Books, from their earliest forms to modern mass-printings, have been and continue to be an important means of communication and one of the catalysts of human progress. With writings originally composed on scrolls, and then later hand-written in bound volumes, the invention of the printing press greatly enhanced the availability of books and even led to greater literacy. Made popular in the late 19th century, comics first made their appearance in Sunday newspapers. They currently can be found in newspapers and in a medium dedicated solely to them, the comic book. The links included herein relate specifically to animation and cartoonists.
