Philosophy for Children, Religion and Family Values

The family is the oldest and most fundamental of all human institutions, pre-dating religions, government, and other organizations. Though traditional families have consisted of a married man and woman and their children, modern families have redefined the term and now consist of a variety of familial arrangements. In general terms, people experience two families within their lifetimes, including the family into which they are born and the family that they themselves form later in life. The parents in a family, most often a married couple, are responsible for caring for their children. The links included herein relate specifically to philosophy and religion within the context of the family.
