Interactive Music & Multimedia Music
An interactive system is a computer-based system that allows for communications, or dialogues, between the system and its users. Interfaces can be computer-based or television-based. Multimedia, or mixed-media, computer systems offer presentations that integrate materials including text, graphics, animation, audio, and video. Music is the most mathematical and abstract of the arts. 'Sound' refers both to waves of compression and expansion that travel through a physical medium such as air, and to the sensing of these sonic waves by a hearing organ.
