Children's Music

Sound is virtually the first input we receive after birth. We quickly learn to relate certain sounds to specific occurrences: thus, we learn to recognize our mother's voice and associate it with warmth, nourishment and nurture, even though we are ignorant of words. Music has been identified as the second category of sound a child relates to, after the voices of the parents. It is an important part of our lives, and has been an important part of every civilization known to man. Use the links below to help you find ways to teach your children the love of music.
