Employment News

A magazine is defined as a periodical publication, usually having a paper cover and illustrations, which provides articles, stories and other features by various writers. The word 'magazine' is derived originally from the Arabic makhazin, "storehouse", which became the French 'magasin', and thence was taken into English. It evidently was first used in 1731 by the 'Gentleman's Magazine' of London. Magazines cater to diverse interests, but most fall into one of four categories: consumer or general; trade and technical; farm, for agricultural interests; and small magazines, usually low-circulation, noncommercial literary journals.
