Power Generation & Energy Industry

The energy industry consists of various heavily regulated firms that provide energy for the world's activities. Sources of energy include wood, coal, natural gas, oil, electricity, nuclear power, solar energy, etc. Perhaps the wealthiest and most dominant of the industry are those firms that produce oil, the primary source of fuel in the world, and one from which gasoline, or petrol, is produced. Electricity, perhaps the most heavily regulated energy source within the industry, is provided for billions of individuals and companies worldwide at tremendous costs. The energy industry, simply by virtue of electricity and oil production, is one of the world's largest and most important. The links included herein are related specifically to the power generation and energy industry news.
