Developing Countries

Developing or Third World Countries & Multilateral Development banks. Multilateral development banks function to improve the standard of living in developing or "third world" countries. Such banks achieve this goal by supplying loan and equity financing for third world private sector projects. They also offer advice for private sector investors and sometimes act as partners with such investors in the process of completing projects. All projects are intended to improve living situations, with the multilateral development banks promoting the notion that investing in such developing countries can be lucrative. The links herein relate specifically to developing countries and multilateral development banks.
