Real Estate Law & Transactions

The property specialization of commercial law concentrates on the legal rights associated with private or public property. As such, property is classified as either real or personal. Real property involves land and buildings, mineral rights, and permanent attachments to land or buildings. Personal property is simply classified as any property that is not real property. Property rights are guaranteed and protected by the government through regulations, laws, and court decisions. It is a complex area of law with specialties in each area and category.
