Corporate law encompasses a broad spectrum of business issues such as bankruptcy, advertising law, leases, negotiable instruments, documents of title, securities, antitrust, and employment law. Corporations face many unique challenges not encountered in other business ventures. For example, corporations are considered to be a single entity, which has very specific legal implications. A corporation can be sued as an individual, but its shareholders are liable only for the capital they invested.
