Health Care & Management
Consumer health & health care management. As health care becomes more expensive and the insurance to cover it becomes more essential, new legislation protecting consumers and outlining health care procedures is being presented almost daily. The most common form of health care coverage is being provided by Health Management Organizations, or HMOs. Most American employers provide health care coverage to their employers through HMOs because it is the most inexpensive means of doing so. Most HMOs will cover 80% of the incurred medical costs with the remaining amount being the co-payment. The co-payment is the responsibility of the patient and is usually required at the time of the office visit. The links included herein relate to health care and management.
