While traditional artists and their works have been lauded, studied, and bought and sold for millions of dollars, the advent of modern photography has inevitably led to a class of photographers that are as popular as their classical artistic counterparts. Among them is Ansel Adams, who produced perhaps his most famous work, The Mural Project, between 1941 and 1942.
