Computer Art. Computer arts have recently grown in popularity, coinciding with the increasing popularity of the personal computer. This art involves the use of a computer to present information in a graphical format. Such outputs vary widely and can include anything from a graphical display of a corporation's earnings growth to the complex graphics of a video game. In addition to a computer, those producing graphic or computer art also utilize graphics software and various input-output devices, including electronic sketchpads, video cameras, printers, and color plotters, all of which enhance the ability of the computer and designer to produce computer art.
