Ceramic Arts & Stoneware News & Publications
The term magazine, which is derived from the French word 'magasin', or "storehouse," can literally be viewed as a storehouse of information. The term was first used in 1731 by the London publication 'Gentleman's Magazine'. Though magazines now cover an extremely broad range of interests, they can generally be broken down into four categories, including consumer or general, trade and technical, farm, and low-circulation. With an increase in the number of magazines published has come a greater specialization, or more narrow focus, among many magazines. Included here are those that are specifically dedicated to ceramics. The links included herein relate specifically to ceramic arts and stoneware news and publications.
