Architectural Structures & Sites
Architecture structures and architectural historical sites. Architecture is most easily appreciated by studying the changes in the characteristics of successive historical periods and the innovations that occur within each. Also of note are the cultural and religious influences that affect the techniques and the style of the structures of the particular periods. With the constant improvements in building materials and technology, contemporary architecture has presented a wider variety of forms and structures than have ever been seen throughout history. Since the introduction of quality cast iron architecture during the 19th century, most boundaries previously limiting architecture have been removed.
