![]() Allison FrederickI am women’s success historian writing book and movie reviews for women. I started studying famous women in history because I realized that I needed to learn how they succeeded. What did they do? What obstacles did they have? How did they overcome them? I wanted to apply their wisdom to my own life and now I am sharing what I am learning with other women through my blog (called FaMiss) and articles. Most of us are looking for ways to achieve our dreams and become successful by our own definition. It is a long journey but the good news is that there are plenty of women who have already done it. We can learn from them. Often it is our psychology that is really holding us back so these book and movie reviews are not your usual discussion of what happened in the storyline but rather what can it mean to us? Allison is also the author of the upcoming novel entitled A Portrait of Josephine.Interests and Hobbies: Women's history, organic and green living, investing, hiking, and photography Homepage: http://www.portraitofjosephine |
