James Hickey

James Hickey is Vice President & General Manager for Savant Protection. He joined the company in 2005 to assume leadership responsibility for the company’s business development, marketing and strategic partnering strategies. With over 25 years in sales, marketing, and business development, Hickey is directly responsible for the global introduction and launch of the company’s Savant technology.

Hickey served as Global Marketing Campaign Manager for Stratus Technologies of Maynard, Massachusetts. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development and implementation of the worldwide marketing plan for the company’s highly successful Banking & Financial Services Segment.

Prior to his work at Stratus, Hickey wasBusiness Development/Marketing Manager for Quantum Corporation’s DLTtape, Advanced Storage Products and Near-online Storage groups. He was a key member of the sales and marketing team that grew the DLTtape Division to $2.4B in three years, and received special recognition for his development efforts of the award-winning DLTtape University and Executive Summit programs.

A member of the New Hampshire High Tech Council (NHHTC), Hickey graduated with a B.A. from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.


Interests and Hobbies:
An entreprenuer at heart, Hickey is a key contributor for a start-up security software company. An accomplished musician, he enjoys performing and composing. He also has a passion for european travel and cooking.
