Dr. Ebroon is board certified in ophthalmology and has been heavily involved in academic medicine. Dr. Daniel Ebroon is also an Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon which means he specializes in plastic surgery of the eyelids. Cosmetic eyelid surgery (also called blepharoplasty) is cosmetic surgery that rejuvinates tired looking eyes. Dr. Ebroon now teaches eyelid plastic surgery at the UCLA school of medicine. He was a full time Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical School and held the prominent position of Residency Program Director. In this capacity he was honored to receive the award for professor of the year. He has written many articles and book chapters. He has also given hundreds of lectures to medical students and residents.



Interests and Hobbies:
In addition to cosmetic eyelid surgery, Dr. Ebroon also has a strong interest in reconstructive surgery and enjoys instructing other students in the field of Ophthalmogy. Dr. Ebroon performs reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, eye socket, and tear ducts for those patients suffering from diseases related to these areas. This includes patients with droopy eyelids, eyelid cancer, broken bones around the eyes, tearing disorders, thyroid eye disease (Grave's disease), and other eyelid disorders.
