Billy Arcement

I am a former teacher, senior corporate manager and a professional speaker / consultant specializing in the fields of personal and organizational leadership. I've written a book, Searching For Success which is internationally published in South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and India. I currently write two monthly ezines and have written numerous articles on self-improvment techniques, management, leadership and school board service.

My business allows me to speak to and consult with clients throughout the United States. I work with business leaders to create a culture of teamwork, productivity and profits. I also work with education leaders to keep children first. I've been a member of the National Speakers Association since 1980 and am a charter member and past president of the New Orleans Chapter.

Interests and Hobbies:
I enjoy reading on personal self-improvement topics, leadership and how to build a stronger spiritual component of my life. All these efforts are directed at keeping me current and informed on the subjects I speak and consult with my client base. I am very active in both the national and local National Speakers Association functions. All these activities serve as a constant source for knowledge and wisdom about my profession.

I've served 12 years on my local school board and am a past state president of the Louisiana School Boards Association. I enjoy discussing political issues and have occasionally written in this arena.

I enjoy spending time with my 10 grandchildren, working in my woodworking shop and playing a round of golf several times per year.

I hold a BS in Physical Education and Science, a Master's in Administration and Supervision and have completed 36 hours beyond the Masters with a focus on Counseling.
