Terry RobertsI have worked as a teacher, translator and entrepreneur. My main professional background is in languages, but my work as a translator made me learn about many different things, from chemistry to animals and sports. At the moment I am working as a university lecturer teaching English applied to Business and Financial Studies.Interests and Hobbies: I am interested in everything connected with languages and linguistics. This means I also travel a lot, so I like to get to know new destinations, people, etc. My work as a translator meant that I had to become familiar with - and in many cases passionately interested in - a large number of fields, as diverse as banking, chemistry, engineering, animals, sports, construction, travel, etc. Being a translator taught me how to write, and now I love to write about almost anything. |
