![]() Nissim AmonI was born in 1963 in Jerusalem. I traveled to the far east, where I was ordained in Korea by Zen-Master Soeng-Sahn at the Hwa-Gey-Sa Monastery, with the designation of monk and Meditation Teacher. Later I traveled to Japan, and studied extensively with G.W. Nishijima, a Soto Zen-Master, who taught me how to catch the Dragon. After ten years under the teaching of Nishijima Roshi, I received a Dharma Transmission and got my Zen-Master title. In Puna, India, I taught Zen Practices at the famous Osho Center, where I was exposed to a revolutionary approach to heal emotional wounds, a tool that is used to achieve inner balance. In Tel-Aviv I established The Faculty for High Consciousness at the Medi-Cin College, and I taught there for six years. I currently reside with his family on the island of Paros, Greece. Along with partners and friends, we have created Tao’s - a center for the study and practice of the Art of Happiness.
