George Krafcisin

An experienced business executive, coach and trainer specializing in helping technical professionals become more successful in their careers or in running their own small business. I give practical mentoring and coaching advice to people who want to advance and grow.

Have held positions as a corporate officer managing technical professionals, a small college enrollment manager, and corporate marketing and sales executive, as well as running my own small business. I also coach small business and not-for-profit executives through SCORE and the Executive Service Corps of Chicago.

Have also taught college level courses.

I hold a physics degree from the University of Chicago and an MA in Liberal Studies from Northwestern University.

Interests and Hobbies:
I do a lot of reading, from mathematics and physics texts to murder mysteries. I brew beer as a hobby, and am active in a local homebrewer's club. I like to keep up with developments in science, business, the arts, and hold memberships in several local arts organizations.

Much of my time is spent on volunteer activities for not-for-profits.
