Blair RhodesAcademically, I have an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from The Univeristy of Texas at Austin. Professionally, I cover the gambit. I have been an executive recruiter, worked as a Hollywood agent and in movie marketing, helped launch a few successful Internet startups during the heyday, worked in development and marketing for a small business franchise, and then as a consultant for many entrepreneurs overseas who wished to make enough money online to survive in Southeeast Asian countries Now, I focus on my own businesses, having helped my own family launch a very successful online business selling premium pashmina and cashmere products called The Pashmina Store. Most of my current efforts are expanding that business and developing complimentary business that serve the same target audience.Interests and Hobbies: I do enjoy writing, so that helps. Beyond that, I am a typical Type A entrepreneur-type who spends too much time and effort focusing on business. I also enjoy sports, especially football, hiking and bike riding. I also enjoy travelling and movies, in spite of having to travel too much and having spent too much time in the movie business! |
