Heidrun Bergsdottir

I dont have any university degrees, but I have attended university for aproximately 3 years (6 semesters). I studied for 1 year social anthropologi, at the university of Aarhus in Denmark plus I studied for 2 years Icelandic folklore in the university of Iceland, Reykjavík.

Beside attending school I have worked a lot. Ranging from work involving the fish-industry (fisherman, salmon gutter, regular fish-industry work, salesclerk at a seafood market) in Denmark and Iceland. I have also worked at homes for mentally handicapped people, and I am currently working as a salesclerk in a pet shop (really love that work).

Interests and Hobbies:
My hobbies are Selfhelp and evolvement and maturity of myself. I used to be addicted to drugs, alchohol, cigarettes and food, plus I was diagnozed as having a Borderline personalty disorder. I was literally abusing my body in any way possible, and the roots for it was the self-hate I carried with me. After much evolvement and hard work, I am symptom-free of the BPdisorder. I have fought off all my addictions, and the final thing: my weight is in the process of getting solved. I went from 403 lbs to 321 lbs in less then 6 months (today) and I am still going strong.

This journey and struggle with myself has given me an insight into myself I had never believed could be possible. From being utterly uncomfortable being myself to simply love and respect myself and feel happy for the first time in my life, is close to a miracle.
