Dr Mike Shery

Dr. Mike earned his doctoral degree in psychology (1975) from the prestigious University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

He was also awarded his specialist certification in counseling from the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy.

He has been in practice for over 25 years and is an Illinois licensed psychologist. He practices in Cary, IL. near Algonquin, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills and Marengo

Interests and Hobbies:
Dr Shery is particularly interested in the tension existing between social expectations and individualistic ones and the ways they are resolved.

He's also an avid skydiver, marksman and champion tennis player.
