Emilia ParsunkeI was born on May 27, 1975 in the small Russian town just between Europe and Asia; it also was where I spent my childhood. That time I felt myself quite happy; I think, a child lives in me still (is it my burden or my luck?): it makes my eyes open wide, and I see the way before me not so hard and not so narrow. My school studies (1982 - 92) were continued at Moscow External University of Humanities (1992 - 95): those years have brought into my life my literature interests and my habit to think of all and to search any answers to oratorical questions. Just by twist of my fate after I got my education (my specialization is philosopher-theologist) I became a reporter at local TV-studio. I found that my work interesting, but too fussy and too scrappy to me, so I've preferred to teach philosophy in college (that's my job till now).Interests and Hobbies: Concerning to reading, I prefer German literature. It's not wonder, because two main themes, which I'm dipt in, are searching for some mythological digs wherever I look - nearly in Joseph and Brothers by Thomas Mann (I think, that is why I so like to compare different folklore traditions), and the second - human resistance to commonness (I flowery name it keeping child inside oneself) - the point of Doblin's Berlin, Alexanderplatz. And I always leave in my passion for writing, of course. To compile words of simple characters, to play with words in composition - it's a claim to creation, to making new realities. I know, these realities couldn't be breathing, but they're filled with heroes like us, who have the same thoughts and feelings, who can really move us. I think, it's the only hope to keep us humans. If about my cinema likings, the idols are Fassbinder, Fellini and Bunuel, but if about my music interests, I listen Nick Cave and something of Tricky, Garbage and Radiohead.
