Todd BalloweMy professional background truly begins when I majored in and received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1993). Since then , I spent several years touring around the MidWest with the band Speared Bill, gradually migrating into retail sales management at several different music instrument retail establishments. After tiring of retail management, I moved into the construction world as a custom home theater contractor. While this was fun and challenging, my knees-- already bad to begin with due to injuries as a teenager-- could only take a few years of it.So, I decided to re-invent myself. In 2005, I began my training to become a website designer and developer with the IWA/HWG. After attaining all of the certifications I could from them, I started AVT Systems, my fledgling website design business. And, although this was right at the beginning fo the current recession, I have managed to not only be succesful but continue steady growth. Interests and Hobbies: As stated above, I have been a musician for almost all of my life. I began playing guitar at six years old, followed by piano at age ten. During middle school, I joined the band and learned to play (in order): oboe, flute, clarinet, tenor and alto saxophone, and the bassoon.
