Ruth BeyerIn 2004, I completed an MS in Criminal Justice, and my undergraduate degree is in Legal Studies. In the past I have been a business owner, for several years in the construction industry; and for one year owned and operated an art gallery. I am a licensed Florida real estate agent, and manage several rental properties. I believe that the current foreclosure crisis is far from over and that we are systematically being stripped of our wealth.Interests and Hobbies: I pay attention to current events and am especially attentive to the way the media reports and presents crime in America. I am also very absorbed by the juncture between law enforcement and the Constitution. I am increasingly distressed at the rate at which we are losing our Constitutional and Civil Rights. Although, I am far from being an anarchist, I feel that the government regulates and prohibits far too much of our personal and private business. And, of course, I love to write. |
