James SmithMy professional background spans over 6 years in the sports industry. In the main, I have worked in marketing department at the various companies that I work for. Having started out in the retail and merchandise department at my local professional football club I moved on to seek new challenges within an industry for which I have a huge passion, sport. My career path soon saw me take up a position in the marketing department of an online sports betting operation. It was whilst in this role that I first got a taste for editorial copy writing as part of the deals that had been done with our partners. It soon became a major part of my role to write articles for various well known publications (both print and online media) and was something that I soon developed a real enthusiasm and skill for.Interests and Hobbies: My personal interests primarily revolve around being a huge fan of sport. Football (soccer) is my first love and with this, I can often be found supporting my team from the stands or playing with friends. Other sporting interest include Cricket, rugby, golf and horse racing, all of which I keep a close interest in and watch both live on the TV and live when getting the opportunity. Professionall qualifications include a degree in Business. |
