Dr. Richard ScuderiOriginally from San Diego, CA, Dr. Scuderi received his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis in developmental biology. He later spent several years in Europe where he obtained his MD and PhD degrees from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He also trained for one year at the Hospital Clinico in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Scuderi is fluent in Swedish, Spanish, and English and is a specialist in the pathologic basis of human disease. He has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented his research findings at international medical conferences.Interests and Hobbies: A strong believer in the mind-body continuum, Dr. Scuderi is an advocate of physical endurance training as a means of maintaining mental health and is an avid soccer player and surfer.
