Leon TubermanI've been the owner and operator of Barn Furniture Mart for almost 40 years. Our store specializes in wood furniture in Traditional, Shaker and Arts & Crafts style. In addition to my decades of experience in high end furniture retailing I also owned and managed a 200 person factory that made furniture for retail and commercial applications.I bring a knowledge of interior decorating, furniture construction and wood working. Everything from helping with the design and floor plans of a restaurant to color coordination for a bedroom. For the past few decades I've made it goal to learn everything I can about home furnishings and accessories.
In addition, I'm also a very interested in history. The creation of the early church and The Protestant Reformation period are some of my favorite subjects. I spend hours reading and watching documentaries. A hobby that I'm currently pursuing, although I wish I had more time to enjoy, is making glass tile mosaics. At this point most of my designs are geometric in design. I'm not very good at it, but it's fun and artistic. |
