Maya AleksicI have a doctorate degree in Education Psychology, with a minor in statistical test development and measurement. I am very passionate about education as well as test theory, test development and assessment. I worked as aDirector of Assessment and Accountability at a High School District as well as for a state Department of Education, within the Research and Policy Division. Finally, I have taught classes within the Education Psychology Department focused on learning theory, cognition and student assessment. I am currently responsible for writing and maintaining a website focused on online education and the benefits of obtaining a degree online. I am responsible for all the website content, frequent article and blog posts as well as a monthly newsletter. I am also working for a school district facilitating their survey program, designing surveys, administering them online as well as data processing and analysis. I frequently meet with school administrators to design and develop a survey as well as discuss data obtained and future action based on the data received. Interests and Hobbies: I am very interested in the development of education and have a passion for online education and learning. As this mode of education grows and more students start receiving degrees from online programs and schools, our understanding and improvement of these programs becomes critical.
