Shannon ShimizuI am the owner of a small business called Five Star Consumer Referrals, Inc. My business incorporated in 2001 and continues to grow annually. I really love the freedom of having my own business and working from home. Prior to owning Five Star, I was a buyer for a catalog company. While I enjoyed that business experience, it was all consuming. Once I got married and had children I realized that I did want to continue to work, however, I also wanted the flexibility that comes with working from home and being your own boss. So far, Five Star Consumer Referrals is the perfect fit for me.Interests and Hobbies: I absolutely love spending time with my kids and my husband. I have a daughter who is 7 and my son is 5. My son is starting Kindergarten this year so I know there will be a period of adjustment for him and myself. He is my baby and I am used to having him around.
