Vicky GallagherI am a high school teacher for the Chicago Public School System, teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 Honors, and I am the Department Chair for my school's Foreign Language Department. During my undergraduate studies I lived in Ecuador for six months during a study abroad program. After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Michigan State University, I then went on to attain a Master's in Education from the University of Phoenix. Recently I completed a comprehensive video review and demonstration of the Rocket Spanish learning system - currently the only video walk-through of Rocket Spanish available online.Interests and Hobbies: I currently volunteer for a number of extra-curricular activities for the students of the high school that I work at, including: Adviser for the National Honor Society Outside of my semi work related activities I enjoy playing tennis and trying to keep up with my dogs. I also spend a great deal of my free time in the summers traveling abroad - primarily to Spanish speaking countries like Mexico, Spain, Ecuador, El Salvador and Honduras. |
