1982 - 2001:
ITT (later bought by Alcatel) Worked 14 years in computerized hardware testing and 5 years in software development (C, C++, proprietary scripting languages).

2001 - Present:
Self-taught in SQL, Perl, CGI, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, etc. Built web sites, did custom Internet programming, wrote ebooks on using CGI and PHP for web
development. Recent projects include www.myrsscreator.com, www.podblaze.com and www.freshpodcasts.com (still under development).

Current project, which is expected to take 12+ months to complete, is top secret due to confidentiality agreements.

Other:
Build, maintain and upgrade my own computers and wireless network.

Interests and Hobbies:
Electronics - enjoy designing and building electronic devices. Software - enjoy writing original software in Perl and PHP. Writing - articles, ebooks, etc. Movies - liek science fiction/fantasy, comedy. Reading - wish I had more time for this (with the exception of technical materials!). Pets - one Maine Coon cat and one Miniature Schnauzer. Theatre, dining out, plays.
