Lydia CastilhoI am retired from the aerospace industry after twenty-five years of service in the executive ommunications department. Since then, I have written various poems and short stories. My poetry has been published in different anthologies -- The Space Between, Chasing Rainbows, impressions by Quill Books, Golden Dreams by Yves Press, Poetry in the Garden by International Forum and also Best Poems: in The International Library of Poetry. I was a member of Romance Writer's Association of Orange County, L.A. and The Write Stuff of The Southwest Manuscripters of Redondo Beach, CA. I am also a member of the International Society of Poets.Interests and Hobbies: I would like to spark the imagination of others with my poems and writings as it gives me great pleasure to share my enthusiasm and creativity with those who appreciate the beauty of nature and are romantically inclined. I also like to hike in the High Sierras and commune with nature whenever possible. For recreation I love to read and play the slot machines! |
