I am by profession an experienced management and soft skills trainer. My last big contract was for the UK Department of Works and Pensions training new recruits in the Pensions industry. I have over 20 years' experience as a Human Resources Manager. I am a Chartered Member of the UK Institute of Personnel and Development. I hold degrees from Cambridge University.Interests and Hobbies: I have written a range of articles and ebooks on a number of management and training subjects. The most recent of these is: Stories Trainers Tell. Some of my publications have appeared in print. I have an article appearing in the current edition of Creative Training Techniques. I have created 2 websites including my current one. I am also an accomplished software programmer. Apart from this, I am a practioner of T'ai Chi and Qi Gong. I and my family live a self-sufficient lifestyle in our home on the England-Scotland border. |
