Bob Cartwright

Bob Cartwright writes for Travelsavvy.com and runs a successful community website in Cheshire. He has worked in communications throughout his career with senior posts at the Liverpool Daily Post & Echo; Rolls-Royce Motors; BNFL; Bass and Mitchells & Butlers.

Bob Cartwright was responsible for the re-launch of the Bentley car brand in 1982 and went on to win the PR industry’s top award in 1989 for the opening of the Sellafield Visitors Centre. He was heavily involved in launching the All Bar One brand in the pub industry.

Interests and Hobbies:
Outside work, his interests include travel; history, particularly of the Balkans; sport; good food, wine and beer. He lives in South Cheshire, where he publishes local news on a community website every day. A recent story, about the village of Audlem voting to become Welsh, has attracted extensive national and overseas media coverage
